Nightelier Devonport Gateway Hotel

I had an excellent stay with great value for my money, as the room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Debbie, making the whole experience enjoyable and easy.

Breakfast selection could benefit from more variety in options.

Magnificent setting, extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Heated pool, parking onsite. Well-appointed and well stocked room with a luxury bathroom.

Easy check-in, late check-out.

An Enjoyable Stay in Devonport

Choosing the Gateway was primarily due to its proximity to this landmark, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality service and facilities available.

Limited breakfast options available.

We had a nice stay for one night.

Location: the hotel was just off shopping centre and a good choice of restaurants, Launceston, and Woolworths and Coles supermarket. Our executive king room with climate control, effective Wi-Fi and blinds was new-fashioned.

the location offered was marvellous and decent short walk to the mall, paranaple centre, decc, supermarket, and shops and dining. i was there for 2 nights and ate at in-house restaurant with good value meals.

Everything was as perfect as can be.

We had a lovely stay at the gateway. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore nearby shops and restaurants. our room was spotless, and we enjoyed a restful night on the comfortable bed. the dining options were excellent, and we particularly appreciated the friendly service throughout our visit.

Nothing major, but the checkout was a bit chaotic. 😅.

Good size room, all amanities, very handy to cbd. Off street parking, was undergoing reneovation which made things less attractive, should be good when finished though.

Staff tended to be a bit stand offish, didn't go out of their way to give any more than was necessary, particularly the wait staff. Had a power problem that was attended to immediately though by a handyman. Also the TV was disconnected from the arial, this was attende to by a staff member immediately. Couldn't want better service

The stay was very quiet, no disruption

I had a really nice stay during my business trip! The location is super convenient, right near the waterfront and local eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and cleanliness of my room. Plus, the on-site restaurant served delicious meals that were a great end to my busy days!

I did encounter a few issues. The noise from outside was sometimes disruptive, especially in the mornings when cars were coming and going. the bathroom could’ve used a little attention, as the water pressure wasn’t consistent, which made for a bit of a slippery situation. though, it was a decent stay!

For two elderly people we had to put our glasses on every time we turned on a light as we couldn't read the computer panel without them

Good quality hotel accommodation with all amenities we expected. Walking distance to river and shops. Well located for a quick trip over the river to the Spirit of Tasmania ferry. Clean and comfortable.

Our three-night stay in a Studio King room at Gateway Hotel By Nightcap Plus was a mix of positives and challenges. While the room was clean and comfortable, boasting a recently updated bathroom and nice amenities, the dirty hallway carpets and lack of parking were disappointing. Breakfast service was chaotic, with missing items, but the restaurant food was excellent. The nearby landmarks, like the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Avenue and Bluff Beach, provided great family bonding opportunities, and the jacuzzi offered a nice relaxation spot after busy days exploring. it was a decent stay with room for improvement.

upgraded to the newly renovated deluxe rooms were beautiful and would stay there again

central and close to Melbourne/Devenport ferry service.

car parking a bit difficult if late arrival, a bit noisy due to drive through bottle shop in same car park.
